A little peek into what I've been keeping myself busy with in school. XD
This is Blip. He's a part of the typical invader-type alien race, sent to various planets to take them over. When in the end, he wants nothing of it. He was perfectly happy on his home planet, and only wishes to return to it.
This assignment involved designing a simple character made out of basic shapes, drawing them in different angles, throwing clothes on them, and putting them in a story pose.
And here you go.
Yays. ^^
Man, I hope this prints out okay... my printer is notorious for messing up colors, and this is for a presentation. -_-;

Oooh, nice. I like the concept behind him. Reminds me of a military type scenario. Like how some disillusioned soldier (on any side, not just American) grows tired of the cause and all they want is to go to their homeland and relax again, which probably has mixed reactions from his fellow soldiers. Some sympathize with him, some empathize, some think he's a little whiney, some treat him as nothing less than a traitor. It's a genuine conflict attached to a decidedly different role.

Good little concept. I know you only made him for the assignment, but do you plan on using him for any further projects?
If so, let me know if there's anything I can do to help, he seems like a really likable character and can have a serious story behind him. :+fav:

He looks pretty good. I can tell you that as an artist there is no greater joy than to create and eventually develop an original creation. Backstory on this guy seems interesting. Nice Job :3.

Sweet. I love the story! Your printer is like mine, I guess xD My printer screws up colors all the time xD It makes the colors so much lighter than they are on the computer xD I had to make colors darker than they should be to use it as a t-shirt design...and I still need to get out the iron and put it on the shirt xD

Oh, awesome. It's nice to work on a story that's not a fanfiction sometimes; it expands your mind while doing something original. :giggle:
