So... yeah. I've seen the Brawl Roster.
Disappointed? You bet your ass I am.
But instead of every other person I've watched, I'm not going to rant about it in a journal. Instead, I'm channeling all that negative energy into emo fanart! Because that's what we all need, right?
And when we get depressed, what do we do? We go to the local bar and drink our sorrows away. And so this idea was spawned.
See? Art's all the therapy I'll ever need.
Even so... I like to think I even have a sense of humor when, and especially when, I'm depressed, so this pic really actually turned out funny, too. Whadda you know.
Okay... so...
Raz pretty much knew he wasn't gonna make it, even though some of us entertained the thought, so it hasn't hit him as hard. But he'll stick around for his new friends, because he's that nice of a guy. And good for him for politely refusing and obeying underage drinking laws.
Krystal is... emotionally exhausted. Out of all of them, she was most likely to get in, and she was so looking forward to fighting beside Fox... but to find out she was replaced by Wolf... it boggles her mind just as much as it boggles ours.
Geno... oh god, Geno... *dies a little on the inside*
Whoever's in charge of copyrights at Square Enix ought to be tar and feathered.

I suppose they'll all just have to wait for the next SSB.
...And if they plan on stopping with Brawl, don't tell me. My hopes and dreams are all I have left.
But just as a heads-up... these guys'll still be Brawl in my own universe. I'm still drawing them in Brawl, I'm still RPing them in Brawl, hell, pretty soon I'll be writing them in Brawl. And there's not one damn thing anyone can do about it.
Okay... on that happy note...
Artistically? Played around with Gradients and blurs in Photoshop. Also did a lighting trick on the art layer, and I think it really adds to the atmosphere of the bar. I know it looks kinda pixelly, I'll getting to fixing that ASAP. The crappy outdated version I have at home (PS 5.0) forces me to export my files into GIFs, pretty much ruining it. I'll try it on the better program (PS CS3) at school.
And drawing drunk facial expressions is fun. ^^
