So before I went in to color this, I got some honest, extremely helpful critique as far as my shading and palette choices are concerned.

So I took my time with this one, and this is the result.

Also let it be known that I had Young the Giant on repeat while doing this orz

Let me start off as that this picture is absolutly prrrrrrrrrrfect.

I like how you made the picture in a way that it can make someone feel down as Mordecai is right now. His head is bowed and he's on his friend's side. To make it feel like they're brothers.

I love how you drew them the exact same way on the show. You did the colors right on Mordecai and Rigby and they would look like if this was an actual screen shot.

Your drawing skills are very beautiful. I can't draw like that at all. The shadows and the light are just perfect and in alinement.

Details are good, the mood in this picture is great, and I think that you did a wonderful job on this deviation!
